Detailed description of Broadmoor Golf Links
Broadmoor Golf Links is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Fletcher, North Carolina, conveniently located off Interstate 26 near the Asheville Regional Airport.
Broadmoor Golf Links first opened for play in 1993. The course was designed by Karl Litten.
Broadmoor Golf Links is consistently recognized with area awards from best greens, best practice facility, best clubhouse,etc., this is a Certified Audubon Society golf course, open to the public year round. Enjoy a round on flat course, with many ponds, streams, and views, but no houses and no out of bounds.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6921 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5082 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 8, a par-5 that plays to 580 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 14, a par-3 that plays to 182 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 8, a 580 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Broadmoor Golf Links is # 17, a 195 yard par-3.

The Broadmoor is a very challenging golf course. Several water hazards and tall grasses come into play if you miss your target. The greens are usually perfect here and for the price I don't think you will find a better golf course.
